Poetry and Song

My chose of Binary opposites is insecurity and security/confidence. Christina Aguilera's Beuautiful is a very emotional song that talks about insecurities and how now and then its ok to feel insecure because you are still beautiful in every way even if you dont think so at the time. She says:
"Now and then I get insecure, From all the pain, feel so ashamed...."
But then she goes onto say: "I am beautiful no matter what they say, words cant bring me down, I am beautiful in every single way."
This song is played all around the world by girls whenever they feel down, because it makes them feel good about themselves the way they should feel.

The complete binary opposite of this feeling of insecurity is self confidence. It is clearly the message in LMFAO's I'm Sexy And I Know It. The men in the video are very, very confident in themselves as they walk around in skimpy underwear (in the music video). In the lyrics they say a lot of words of self confidence like:
"When I walk on by, girls be looking like damn he fly" and "Everybody stops and they staring at me
I got passion in my pants and I ain't afraid to show it" "I'm sexy and I know it". He obviousley shows no insecurities and the song makes everybody laugh and makes them feel good about themselves.

I like both songs very much because in "I'm Sexy And I Know It", he doesnt care if he looks weird he has loads of confidence and every body should feel the way he does. But I also like Christina Aguilera's song because it is very emotional and it does bring a lot of people up, she talks about insecurities but then she says how beautiful we all are even with your insecurites. I cant decide I like them both. :)
